I have a pair of boots that I can best describe as 'KILLA' - they are red patent leather, Natasha Marro ankle boots with a black tongue, stiletto heels, cloven hoof toe..... I absolutely love them and always feel a million dollars when I wear them and I definitely feel youthful.

The plastic ends of the laces have come off, though, so it's always a bit of a mission to lace them up as the ends of the laces are frayed. Yes, I could invest in some new laces but I manage with the original. 

So, here's the thing. Our chromosomes have ends on them as well to stop them fraying - the end bits are called TELOMERES. Don't worry, I'm not going to get all sciency on you but if you are interested in preserving your vitality and youthfulness, you'll want to read this.
